Barbed wire or razor wire?
Barbed wire is the economical choice for farms and long boundaries. Razor wire gives a much higher climb delay and is specified for prisons, military and critical infrastructure.
Security wire products
Security wire divides into two families. Barbed wire is the traditional twisted two-strand wire with four-point barbs, still the most economical topping for farms and long boundaries. Razor wire presses sharp blades around a high-tensile core and is supplied as concertina coils, flat wrap sheets or welded mesh where a much higher climb delay is required.
Also known as: Barb wire · Four-point barbed wire · Concertina wire · Razor tape wire
Barbed wire covers economical topping and boundary work; razor wire is specified wherever climbing must be stopped. Both are galvanized for outdoor service and can be combined on one fence line.
The economical topping for farms, ranch boundary and general security fences.

Two zinc-coated strands twisted together with four-point barbs at regular spacing. It is the standard topping above field fence, chain link and panel fences, and the first choice wherever long lengths of deterrent wire are needed at low cost.
