Frequently Asked Questions

Why choose a roll fence instead of a rigid panel?

Rolls follow ground that rises, falls and curves, and they can be installed by hand without lifting equipment. Rigid panels give a straighter, stiffer line but need level ground or stepped set-out.

Which aperture is right for animals?

For small animals, choose a smaller aperture such as 50×50 mm so they cannot pass through. For larger stock, a taller roll with a wider aperture is normally sufficient. The deciding factor is the size of the smallest animal to be contained.

Can it be installed without concrete?

Yes, if the posts are driven or the fence is short and lightly loaded. For taller fences, exposed sites or soft ground, posts are normally set in concrete. The right method depends on the ground and the wind exposure.
