Why is it called a Y-shape fence?
The post carries a welded V (Y) shaped support arm that holds the concertina razor wire away from the panel, so the topping cannot be reached or cut from the ground side.

Airport Security Fence (Y-Shape)
The airport fence, also called Y-shape security fence, combines a rigid welded mesh panel with a V-shaped support arm that carries concertina razor wire on top. Galvanized and polyester powder coated, it is the standard perimeter for airports, military zones, ports and other high-security sites.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which razor wire fits the V-arm?
Standard concertina coils of 450–1,000 mm diameter clip straight onto the arm. BTO-22 is the common blade type; BTO-10/12/30 and CBT types are available for specific requirements.
Is the fence galvanized or powder coated?
Both. Hot-dip galvanizing at 505 g/m² gives the longest service life for coastal and industrial sites; electric galvanizing plus a polyester powder coat in RAL colours is the economical alternative.
